Makenzie Freshly

Director of Marketing & Communications

“Marketing and communications are the tools through which our partners create opportunities, expand their reach, and make a bigger impact. I love coming into work each day knowing that I get to help the firm and our partners showcase their personalities and purposes to the world.”

Makenzie Freshly is a driven team player who brings tenacity and a high understanding of process-driven digital, written, and visual communication to our partners and the Cramer team.

As the Director of Marketing & Communications, Makenzie ensures consistent representation of the Cramer & Associates brand through a variety of channels, including social media, digital presence, newsletters, graphic design and more. Lending her creativity, knack for strategizing, and eye for detail to any project in front of her, she also helps our partners share their mission and impact. She enjoys facilitating effective communication about the amazing work that takes place in the nonprofit sector. Her skills shine through in the brand-new Cramer website. She is currently working with the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) to update their brand, create marketing materials, and launch their 2020 Vision to more than 475 congregations. Prior to joining Cramer & Associates, Makenzie spearheaded the strategic marketing efforts of an Ohio-based financial firm.

Lifelong learning and growing is a top priority of Makenzie’s, and she strives to leverage her own knowledge to empower those around her. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and Sociology early from Miami University of Ohio.

Originally from Northeast Ohio, Makenzie resides in Powell with her husband Tristan and travels to new places whenever she can. She loves trying new recipes out at home (especially homemade pasta) and exploring the vibrant Columbus restaurant scene.
