Karen Blickley serves as a resource to corporations wishing to begin or enhance their philanthropic programs. Her 20 years of experience in corporate philanthropy include strategy development, program development and implementation, and success measurement.
After a distinguished 38-year career at Nationwide, Karen retired in May 2021 as Vice President of the Nationwide Foundation. While at Nationwide, she led the development and implementation of several key initiatives including Nationwide’s Associates Helping Associates program, the Community Impact Model, and engagement with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She also held a variety of positions in numerous Nationwide corporate citizenship initiatives such as United Way and Operation Feed.
Karen has frequently served the central Ohio community as a board member for various organizations, including: Lutheran Social Services CHOICES for Domestic Violence, the Cooperative Development Foundation, Huckleberry House, the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, and the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. She is a graduate of Leadership Columbus, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Bowling Green State University.
